There is nothing better for your body than drinking water. It hydrates the body, quenches thirst, and dispels the often-false craving for other, less healthy drinks. But not all waters are created equal. Some contain toxic chemicals, such as fluoride and chlorine, which can be harmful to the body.
Water is the most essential thing you can put in your body. Not only is it the best way to keep your body hydrated, but it also prevents a variety of health problems. The human body is made up of close to 60% water, and it needs to maintain that level to function at its best. In addition to the health benefits, water can also help you lose weight, improve your energy level, and reduce belly fat.
Water, the most vital substance on the planet, is vital to our health and our wellbeing. Drinking enough water each day is one of the best things we can do for our bodies, keeping us healthy and raising our level of energy. It also has a host of other benefits, from keeping our skin soft and young to help us avoid a variety of ailments. But while most of us are aware of the many benefits of drinking water, we don’t always drink enough.

Why is drinking water from the tap better than bottled water?
Because it's free of contaminants. Bottled water is treated with chemicals and then filtered through materials like carbon and activated carbon to remove impurities. While this may make it look and taste better, it's not a true representation of the water we consume. The Most Common Signs Of An Inadequate Intake Of Water

According to “The Environmental Protection Agency’s Guide for Water Quality”, water that is “pure enough” is usually considered to have no more than 8 parts per thousand of total dissolved solids (TDS).
What is TDS?
TDS, which refers to Total Dissolved Solids, is a measure of the comparative solubility in water of substances in a given solution. In other words, it's a measure of how much matter apart from the solvent is dissolved in the solvent. So, yes it does exist and it feels better when you drink water with less TDS.
TEST YOUR WATER: How Pure is Your Water? With the push of a button, the TDS water tester can tell you your overall water purity level, which will be displayed on the screen in ppm (parts per million)
How much TDS is acceptable for drinking water
The recommended TDS for drinking water is anywhere from 100 to 500 parts per million (ppm). Anything higher than 500 ppm is generally considered to be too much and can be harmful to your health. In general, it’s best to drink water that has a low TDS, with a maximum of 8 ppm. This is because water with a lower TDS is free of contaminants and is the best type of water to drink.
The American Water Works Association, or AWWA, sets the maximum TDS allowed in drinking water at 100 ppm. According to the AWWA, water with less than 8 ppm of TDS is generally considered to be “good”, while water with more than 200 ppm of TDS is considered to be “bad” for drinking. The AWWA also states that water with 200 to 400 ppm of TDS is acceptable for drinking, while water with more than 400 ppm of TDS is not recommended for drinking. This is based on the belief that water with high levels of TDS can cause a variety of health problems, including calcium loss, tooth decay, and kidney damage.
The most common signs of an inadequate intake of water are fatigue, dry mouth, and brittle hair. According to “The Environmental Protection Agency’s Guide for Water Quality”, water that is “pure enough” is usually considered to have no more than 8 parts per thousand of total dissolved solids (TDS). The TDS value of a given water source is measured with a TDS meter. The higher the TDS, the greater the concentration of impurities.
One of the best things we can do for our bodies, keeping us healthy and raising our level of energy, is to drink water. It also has a host of other benefits, from keeping our skin soft and young to help us avoid a variety of ailments. But while most of us are aware of the many benefits of drinking water, we don’t always drink enough.
